Ciao! My name is Monica Ercolano, and I am an Italian teacher from Rome, where I lived until the completion of my university studies in Clinical Psychology.
After the completion of my studies in Italy, I lived for seven years in the United States, where, after pursuing a Master in Organizational Psychology, I worked in the training field in the areas of intercultural and cross-cultural communication, and diversity and inclusion. At the same time I also worked as an Italian teacher and “country resource” for the Berlitz Language School and the Berlitz Cross-Cultural Division.
I then moved to Amsterdam in 2006, where I started working as an instructional designer for in-class and online training.
Passionate about teaching my native language and culture, in 2017 I earned my DITALS certification and started my own language school, Parliamo Italiano. Besides Parliamo Italiano, I also work as a freelance Italian teacher for the Istituto Italiano di Cultura per i Paesi Bassi and for Italiamoci, a non profit organization aimed at promoting the Italian language and culture.
I love learning, teaching, traveling, and getting to know new cultures.
I am very looking forward to meeting you soon and to provide you with the opportunity to delve in this beautiful language!
